Missing the Carriage: My Secret Pregnancy

This is my story, now published on HerStry Magazine.

It’s scary to put myself out there in such a vulnerable way by sharing this intimate story, but the process is therapeutic, healing and gave me the space I needed for closure.

My hope is that this story resonates with women who may have suffered pregnancy loss and that it gives the men in our lives some insight of what women go through during the process.

My heart goes out to you and the ones we’ve lost.

I started writing this over a decade ago. I put it away for several years and started working on it again over the past year. I guess I was emotionally ready to finish it.
