My writing journey on Medium continues, and I’m now 8 months in. Are you curious about writing on Medium or are you already writing on the platform, but need an extra push, guidance or direction? I’d like to share my experience about the benefits of taking a Medium Mentoring Community Program that I took with Inspired Writers.

Dracul…also in theory, you can get paid pretty much on ALL your stories, as long they are getting reads by paid subscribers. (However, certain Medium publications don’t accept stories under the MPP plan, but those are rare. BTW: The links I post on my WordPress blog are friendship links, so people don’t need to pay to access my stories, but they can still read them. Also, you don’t need to buy a membership to write on Medium ($50 USD per year), but it’s helpful if you do as you’re only allowed 3 free reads per month and there’s a ton of articles you can read about how to write on Medium.

Hi Dracul! So sorry for late reply…I only just saw this now! Yes you can paid for writing on Medium, but you need to enroll in the Medium Partner Program which is free to enroll in. As long as you live in a country that lets you participate in the program. Payment is made based on some type of calculation based on reads by paying subscribers that subscribe to Medium. Note; New writers (like me) don’t make much when they’re starting, but I’ve heard regular long-term popular writers can make thousands (per month.) Just a question.
Can you get paid and earn money for writing on Medium?
I opened an account there several years ago and posted a couple of poems.
But I’ve heard you can get paid to write in certain categories on Medium.
