This was my entry for the 2021 Medium Writing Challenge for the “work category.” There were four categories for the contest (Death, Space, Re-entry & Work). Judging is still in process and Medium received over 10,000 submissions. Whenever I enter a contest, I have no idea what the outcome will be but I’m happy that I least gave it a shot and tried!
